Stardew Valley allows players to do several activities, and fishing is one of them. It is quite important as it helps in cooking and money-making. There are varieties of fish in the game and one of them is Albacore. Read this article to find out more about its uses and location in the game.
What is Albacore?
Albacore is a rare fish that a player can catch in Stardew Valley. It provides a good amount of XP to the players, which can be beneficial in the game. Also, it could be sold for a good price.
The fish is also significant in one of the Quests, where Gus demands this fish by mail on the 26th of Winter. He will also give you 400 gold for your help. If you are attempting to catch it, you should choose the right time and location, as it can’t be found everywhere.
Uses of Albacore
Albacore is a key ingredient in the recipe of Sashimi (Raw fish sliced into thin pieces) or Maki Rolls (Fish and rice wrapped in seaweed). It can also be used to make quality fertilisers, which improves soil quality, increasing your chance to grow quality crops.
Further, these fish can be used in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create the dyeable Sailor Shirt. Lastly, you can put it in a fish pond, where they will reproduce every 2 days.
Where to find Albacore in Stardew Valley?
Albacore can be caught in the ocean during the seasons of Fall and Winter in the early morning and at night. It may also randomly appear in Krobus’ shop on Wednesdays for 200g or at the Travelling Cart for 225-1,000g. One can also catch it using the Magic Base regardless of the season, time and weather.
It should be noted that Albacore is not used in any bundles.
