As mentioned earlier, this is a gothic turn-based single-player game. Developed by Canadian company Complex Games, this game was published by the British giant Frontier Foundry on May 5, 2022. This game focuses on a group of giant metallic robotic forces called the Grey Knights and their constant fight against an evil force called the Nurgle. Humans created these Grey Knights to defend themselves from Nurgle forces.

Furthermore, the player controls a robotic Grey Knight suit and becomes the commander of the group. Also, the player leads the fight against the Nurgle forces to prevent a plague called Bloom that could destroy humanity. Also, the game features various strategies that the players use to fight against the evil army.


To start with, Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters received many positive reviews from gamers and pundits. Popular gaming media website IGN rates this game 8 out of 10. This explains that the game is a decent success. Other notable reviews are from PC Gamer and Metacritic as they rate it 87% and 80% respectively.

Though this is an enthralling game, some players are not happy with the gameplay. Also, some players disgust the minions of Nurgle. But, in general, it is one of the best space-based games out there. Since the games before Daemonhunters were not up to the mark, the expectations were high upon its release. And we can certainly say that it fulfilled all the expectations. Furthermore, many players rate this as the best Warhammer 40k game since the release of Dawn of War II in 2009.
