Uncle from Another World is an anime television series adapted from the Manga series of the same name. The series is produced by Atelier Pontdarc and directed by Shigeki Kawai. It will release in 2022.

Uncle from Another World Synopsis

The manga series released in 2018. The plot of the series is quite unique. The story revolves around a boy named Takafumi. Seventeen ago, his uncle fell into a coma, but now he rises back as a man risen from grave. Soon, Takafumi realizes two bizarre things. His Uncle treasures video game above all and while he was in comatose, he actually transported to another world. Now not only his uncle is magical, he also needs to catch up the guy on two decades- history by any source – smartphone, high-speed internet, modern anime tropes etc. The series goes interesting by time. It is like one of its kind. We will soon watch the fascinating anime version of the series. It will release soon in 2022.

Cast updates

The official team of the anime has Takehito Koyasu in uncle’s role while Jun Fukuyama will play role of Takafumi. Jun Fukuyama is a famous voice artist who has performed in many animes. The manga was quite popular and sold 1.5 billion copies. We will also see isekai video games in the series. The series has a genre of comedy but has a solid fanbase in manga world. With the release of visuals, everyone is excited to see the upcoming series.
