Plot: Hunter X Hunter

The plot follows Gon Freecss, a little kid who has been told his entire life that both of his parents are dead. When Gon hears from Kite, his father Ging Freecss’ apprentice, that he is still alive and has progressed to the rank of Hunter, he leaves his home on Whale Island to take the Hunter Examination and become a Hunter like him.

Gon is constantly confronted by Hisoka. He is a strange and deadly transmuter who takes an interest in him, among many other examinees. Gon and his friends pass the exam after many difficulties together, with the exception of Killua, who fails after killing another applicant owing to the persuasion of his brother, Illumi, and flees to his family’s estate in disgrace.

Who is Hisoka?

Hisoka Morow is a Hunter and former member #4 of the Phantom Troupe, where he rated third in terms of physical strength. He is always on the lookout for powerful opponents, and he would save those with tremendous potential, such as Gon and Killua, until they are strong enough to challenge him.

Hisoka was the principal antagonist of the Hunter Exam and the Heavens Arena arcs. He then, transitions to a supporting role in the Yorknew City and Greed Island arcs. He returns as a secondary opponent during the 13th Hunter Chairman Election arc. In the Japanese version of the 1999 anime, he was voiced by Hiroki Takahashi. And in the English dubbed version, by Brendan Hunter. In the 2011 anime, he was voiced by Daisuke Namikawa in the Japanese version. And Keith Silverstein in the English dub version.

How tall is Hisoka?

Hisoka has the appearance of a comedian or a jester. He is a tall (6’2″) and slender 28-year-old male. His red hair is pointing skyward. He has a fair complexion. Plus, he paints a fuchsia star on his left cheek and a green teardrop on his right cheek. He has golden-yellow eyes that give off an unnerving vibe the majority of the time. His clothes are frequently emblazoned with numerous suit insignia on the front and back torsos, and he changes clothing during the plot.

This recurring enemy is a highly proficient Hunter and former Phantom Troupe member. He’s conceited and bizarre, with sadistic and murderous pleasures.
